TeleTech
Good morning all, Has anyone work for this company, TeleTech as a CS from home. They want you to install a disc that clears everything off your computer while you work on their stuff. Any comments on how that works and is it safe? I appreciate all who can give me some input.

I'd invest in another computer dedicated to their work
If I were to take a job with that kind of requirement, I would definitely invest in one of the reasonably inexpensive <$500 computers available and dedicate it completely to their work. I would not let anyone or anything wipe my computer - even if it's supposed to only be temporary - for any amount of money. Murphy's Law would be guaranteed to kick in eventually and the disc would fail to restore your own data once you're done with their work for the day, or something else bad would happen. If the pay will justify the initial investment, set up a dedicated computer just for the TeleTech work.

Wouldn't let my brother clear everything off
my computer, let alone some company. Buy an XP computer off Craigs list and use it after you do a complete search of the company.

Re: Wouldn't let my brother clear everything off
Why would they want everything off your computer?

Re: Wouldn't let my brother clear everything off
Thanks for all the replys. I may not be understanding it completely. I have to go over all details, but getting another computer is not a bad idea.

Re: try another company that isn't as stringet
I work part-time from home for Liveops.com. Homebased customer service work and we didn't have to do anything of the sort.
I know they are hiring now too.
