Va. Notaries - SB 550 law change

Any Virginia notaries interested in discussing the proposed change to again allow loose ack. please contact me. I find they have buried this number (550) and rolled it into another one (which I cannot find) and it is now part of 118. It is being sponsored at the request of lawyers (no big surprise, right?) So far I have spoken with 5 other notaries and we are all of the same opinion. Several of us have already made our opinion known to our elected officials. We will be making additional direct contact with various other officials to make our opposition known. We can use all the support we can get. Thanks for your support and if you disagree, please tell us why. TIA

I dont like the idead of going back to loose acks. In fact, I threw out all my loose acks when the law went into effect.

Has anyone drew up a standardized response to send out to our officials?
