Vendor-Vendee Relations/Libel/Goodwill Building

Reading the comments by Anthony and Robert, I am reminded on lose-lose battles which I have reluctantly engaged from time to time. Thus, I hope Anthony and Robert can find peace to resolve their conflict.

There are two sides to every story and there are no winners and only losers when personal conflicts boil over onto a board such as this one. Some folks are so enemy centered that they will dedicated considerable amounts of unproductive time to engage in battle and to act in a vicious way to cause harm to you; so I have learned the hard way to be more careful. Name calling is hurtful.

At some point, someone, somewhere, is going to be sued for libel or invasion of privacy and I do not want to be the defendant in any lawsuit. Everyone is responsible for their words and words posted on internet forums and actions may have legal consequences.

Just today, a vendor asked me to correct a mistake that was not of my making. A second trip will be required. We asked for a trip fee that the vendor refused. Fine. We will eat the expense for goodwill. End of story. Keep the business coming and move on down the road.

No one likes to be accused of improprieties in a public forum. When those accusations are misunderstandings or false, then they are hurtful. Overreactions by anyone are seldom useful to relationship building. We are family! Think about this statement. We really are family! We are all working in an ever shrinking industry. Let's pull together for the common good.

And, oh, goooooooooooood morninggggggggggggggg! Let's make it a wonderful day today!

This vendor was so appreciative of our attitude and professionalism that we have already received an additional referral today.

My practice is busy already; however, I manage my time well so I can engage my hobby of communicating with others in the fields where I am gainfuly active.

These power of positive thinking philosophies do work.

**These power of positive thinking philosophies do work.**

FWIW, apparently so does the powers of Burton F thinking.

"Seeing and Being: It is not until we changed those basic paradigms, until we see things differently, that we are able to create quantum change in ourselves and in the situation. Paradigms are inseparable from character. Being is seeing in the human dimension. In addition, what we see is highly interrelated to what we are.

Paradigms are powerful because they create the lens through which we see the world. The power of a paradigm shift is the essential power of quantum change, whether that shift is instantaneous or a slow and deliberate process."

Hmmm... "... my practice is busy already..." LMFAO!

If your "practice" is so busy, how on earth do you find the time to be such a troll on the Notary Message boards? I mean, it isn't just ONE, Burton. You must reeeealllly like to see your name in print.

Lisa, enough already!

Why can't you just stop responding to this guy? You're just as much part of the problem as he is if you keep encouraging him like you do.
