Waiting waiting waiting

Oy vey I am venting...
No HUD, no promissory note and no (required by ctc) updated 1003.
When is the last time you received a lender package without a note?
LOL

Re: Tuesday Glenn

WS is no longer closing in my area, Wachovia (who purchased WS) is doing
all the loans and closings in-house with their own staff.
Lucky dog, I used to do a ton of WS in their offices, LO present for questions.
I sure do miss those, and so does my bank account.
At least I now have Wachovia offering me referrals for general notary work.

Re: Tuesday Glenn

I should have said Wachovia. Same building, I can't get World out of my brain.

If you have a local office there, go in and leave some cards. The branch I sometimes deal with only has one person with a commission so if she calls in sick, they will call a notary they are familiar with to do the in house. That's how I have gotten a lot of my business lately with Wells, Wamu or whoever. Every few weeks, I make the rounds and drop off my business cards and shoot the bull for a couple of minutes. The weather has been bad this week so I have one this afternoon from Wells where I am going to pick up the docs and take them to a lady in an area that has some snow and the BO doesn't want to come to town.

Incredible

No sooner than I posted this than I got 2 back to back at a Wachovia in a neighboring town for tomorrow.
I am flabbergasted!
Yes, I bank at Wachovia, and know all the staff at both locations here in town.
They had specifically told me that they wouldn't be using any outside notaries, like WS had done. But, they all have my cards, and always refer customers for general notary work, since Wachovia's policy is that in-house notaries can only notarize bank-related business during business hours.

Been lucky this week...

Had all my docs at least 24 hrs in advance for all of my closings!!! This is a miracle week!

Had one last week. Turns out the majority of the docs went to the borrower, but they neglected to tell me that. What they sent to me was revised pages -- about 40... (At least I got paid for full edocs.) Fortunately, I called ahead of time and found out.
