Web site question
OK- so developing a web site is a lot of work. Trying to get together a unified marketing brand between website, cards, and marketing materials-difficult on a "shoe string" budget! Nonetheless has to be done!!! I have everything in my head- but when you want to broadcast it in a cohesive manner- it takes a lot of planning!!!
Question: most people have industry links on their web page....I am worried to link other notary sites to my page- as my potential contact may click on those links and then use them to find another notary in my area? Any feedback on this- and maybe I am over analyzing it? However, I need all the biz that I can get....and I don’t want a link that is designed as a benefit to take away an order? Do ya get me??

I have tons of links to other notaries on my website. (A whole webpage dedicated to it!) There are even notaries in my home area too. I don't think I've lost any "sales" to any of them. Actually, quite the contrary.

One can look at this two ways: optimistically or pessimistically.
Optimist: They call me. I'm busy, can't do, don't answer, whatever. They see you are not afraid, you actually list some competition. They say to themselves: this person is confident. They solved my problem of the hour/day. I will return.
Pessimist: opposite, completely.
Choose your stance -

sorry - didn't finish thought - finger slippage
because when they call me, I am going to ask how they got my name, and I will remember that when I can't do something later on - and turn about is fair play...
