Wording on notarization
I have never seen this wording before and do not know how to complete it. It says "In witness whereof, the said (name) and (name) has caused these presents of be signed by its ______ and _____ this_____." I'll appreciate any help. Thanks.

Oops. It says "... has caused these presents to be signed by..."

Clarify - How do you know that this is the notary wording on the document? Doesn't look like any notary wording I've come across. Wish I could be of more assistance.
I've seen docs where all that is there is a line with Notary Public printed below it LOL

I know because it's the preceeding wording before my signature as the notary.

How many signers are there? Is/are he/she/they representing one or more corporations or trusts? Maybe (wild guess) it sould come out something like:
In witness whereof, the said Big Bank and Trust Company has caused thes presents to be signed by its president and secretary this 4th day of July, 1776.
It's also possible it isn't intended to be completed until the paperwork gets back to the title company or lender.

what kind of doc is it on?......also.....
it appears to me to be for trustees or corp officers......is this a trust?....is it a corporate doc?....if it is just for a couple doing a refi i would draw a line in the blank spaces and do the normal notarization.....also if it is part of the notary block draw a diagonal line thru it and attach an ack or jurat [which ever the doc calls for] making sure to identify on the bottom of tyhe loose ack or jurat what it is attached to so it can't be used for something else.....

Gerry, when you said "trust" you were exactly right. In this case, the words "trustee" and "trustee" and date go in the blanks. Thank you so very much, all of you!
