I spoke with "Missy" Rowe, she said they are out of Florida, she and her husband started the business fall 2007. yeah I'm leary, I was ripped off $525 in 2007.

I don't think she is the same Missy from SOX. SOX is in California.
Missy has been a Florida notary since at least 2003 - she renewed her commission in 2007 and as they are good for 4 years she had to have her original commission at least in 2003 if not earlier.

Back in the Signatures Plus days I received a check from them that had dba X Marks the Spot. This may be a new company as I seem to recall that Signatures Plus was in California. I don't know but I would get some references from them... Be careful, very careful just in case it might be the same folks as Signatures Plus

X Marks the Spot (Fl)

Some time ago I posted about this company. Did a closing for them. Missy is very nice and professional. She claims no association with SOX. I was very skeptical before I took the closing but did my due diligence and was assured it wasn't SOX or an affiliate. She met my fee and I was paid but it took long - over 45 days. She waits until she gets paid before she pays her notaries. Hope this helps.
