Payment for 12/12/08 now 4 weeks overdue, according to their 30 day payment "policy". I also took a signing last night for this evening - while driving and distracted (not advised!). She said her name and company so fast, it was not understood. I decided not to cancel just yet, until I can get some response from them as to when I will be receiving the money due. Probably will have to cancel if I don't hear back soon.

Don't do it! In my opinion, you should DEFINITELY CANCEL their appointment if you still can!!!! I've just finished my Closing Quest-Nightmare Quest to be paid for my services!!! Long story short; did a RESPA signing on 10/31/07 got just got paid TODAY, 2/7/08!! When I asked for my payment when it was about 35 days past due, I received an email stating their RESPA policy was to pay 45-60 days. I was never aware of THAT policy, otherwise I never would have taken that job. I got paid over 90 days later. I didn't check them out either and learned a VALUABLE lesson.
JUST DON'T DO IT!!!!!
