have you ever had this happen?

have you ever had a bo lie and tell their lo that you were late and knowing good and well you wasn't? I had natlink president just call me and ask me if I was late for the signing that I did for them on 12-21. I did the signing earlier for this bo to accomadate him because he was going to the hospital to have open heart and then he lies on me. Can you belive the nerve of some people. He wasn't nothing but a smart--- the whole time I was there, me, feeling sorry for him, trying to be passive. The nerve of some people. He tried to make his wife believe that I was getting the $500.00 that was on the hud for the title company. I knew then, he would do whatever to make my pay less.

I have gotten a call from a signing service that the borrower said I did not give them copies of the docs, which of course I would never show up without them.
Also had a lady at title tell one of my best clients that I sent back docs with "spots on them, out of order and was missing a document."
1.) borrower was an immaculate housekeeper, there was nothing on the table to get on the docs .
2.) Was an overnight package so I could not prove the order of the docs or that a document was in fact missing. I am positive she was trying to get out of paying for the signing by blaming someone else.
Thank goodness these people knew my work previously. I feel for you. I think when we deal with so many different personalities maybe somethings do come up sometimes?
Good Luck to you,
Janet

I had a bo call the lender the next morning and ask why no one showed up to do their closing the night before. Their appointment was for 5:00 pm, I was 10 minutes early for the appointment, they got a copy of the docs and signed my copy. The LO, argued with me and didn't believe me until I told him to give me his Fax # or email address and that I would happy to send him the signed docs as proof that I had done the closing. I told him that I knew the borrower's were old, but they hadn't shown any signs of senility or I wouldn't have closed the loan and informed everyone why it hadn't closed.

I had a fussy suspicous borrower. He vaciallted over every doc. I could care less if he signed or not. Finally he signed. I was just glad to be done with it. He kept asking me what he should do and what I thougth, and I kept telling him I was not allowed to give him any advice or opnions because I was not an attorney.

The next day, he told his people that I advised him not to sign the docs. I almost fainted when I heard that. I was mortified and terrified. I told the SS that I used to be a paralegal and I would NEVER make a slip like that. I said, "If I told him not to sign, then why did he?"

In order to "get out of it", I had to go back for free and resign the whole stack with his new figures. He just wanted out of the loan and a new loan and not pay. So he risks my job, fines, and jail time for his convinience. So evil.
