immigration papers
I was wondering if there is anyone in the Ontario, California area that helps to fill out any immigration papers? Please email me privately for any information and a phone number in which I can refer. Thanks you so much in advance.

"... fill out any immigration papers ..." Oh, oh. Not as a
Notary Public, I hope!
It is probably against the law in California for a Notary Public to help people fill out forms.
Be especially careful "helping" people fill out immigration documents, even if you're not acting as a Notary in that context.

It seems to me thats WHY Cheryl might be asking? Look in the yellow pages for legal document assistance. If there is a INS office in your area, these types of businesses are usually around it. Check that out as well.

From he CA notary Handbook:
"Only aperson who is qualified and bonded as an immigration consultant under the Business and Professions Code may assist a client in completing immigration forms."
"A notary public who is not qualified and bonded as an immigration consultant under Chapter 19.5 (commencing with Section 22440) of Division 8of the Business and Professions Code may not enter data provided by a client on immigration forms nor otherwise perform the services of an immigration consultant."
I would recommend you do a search for Immigration Consultant in Ontario CA

Thank you very much for your replies. I am well aware that I nor any other "notary" can fill out or assist in the completion of immigration forms, however, I was beginning my search for anyone that someone here from this forum may refer me too, first, before I started searching through the yellow pages randomly. BUT....Thank you all for "watching out for me" and ensuring that I am not stepping into a situation that exceeds my abilities. I, in no means, intend to act or request that someone act as an immigration consultant. Perhaps I should have given more thought into my post as to how it would come off. Thanks so much, again, though!
