I got censored today for posting this (well, a bit differently). #229238 as inappropriate.
Then a reply came from this person on #229299, and that msg was deleted at his request, special exemption.

Truth hurts, and why was mine bounced off? Will these also be censored? Time will tell. It is a shame that others hide behind a made up name, identity and/or have several identities.

Lala land my foot - although he taught in LA for a number of years. Those that can do, those that can't teach.

he signed his real name on the post and did not want anyone to see it. He called Mod and had it deleted. But we did see it.

Actually, wasn't bad at all, it's just that some who can't face the truth have it censored.

Both blogs are from the same guy, but both are pretty old

One post in almost a year. Kind of old info. I don't know much about Georgia, but it looks like their state bar association wants to corner the market on signings by claiming UPL.

Sounds like we need to all jump on these folks and tar and feather 'em as their way of thinking is so different from our own.

At this point I'd welcome a platitude. So far all I've heard is hot air.

Re: shill: n,

another example would be the 6 alias you have on 123. Notary Eagle, Notary Advocate, Legal Notart, fletch - 2 more I can not remember right now. You would post a question with one ID an then respond to yourself with one of the other ID's to get the conversation going. Ironically, you also deleted ALL of your post on 1/6 when that message board started investigating you and your shenannigans there. Quite entertaining to watch.

Julianne, you are Certified by NNA. Has this helped your business?

Re: shill: n,

Yes, it has. I get a lot of low-ballers, but I do get some good ones from time to time. My most recent new business that I don't share with anyone came from there. I don't get enough to warrant a renewal this year, with the market as it is, and the changes to my business that I have in mind. There are other factors as well, many of which have been presented here these past 2 days. I do prefer my business from here which, by and large, pays better. I enjoy the community here as well, which one will not get there.

The couple of times I had a question, the NNA did not answer my question, instead referring me to FL SOS, yet they advertise they will help 24/7. Another time I got bad info, which I would rather have been referred than to get bad info, or just been told "I don't know".

If you do a search w/the orange button, you will see many, varied comments upon which to base your decision about them. They are not respected as they once were, sad to say. They have become a sales organization, nothing more. Even in this downturn climate, they are promising 'big bucks' as a SA, luring the unsuspecting (who are also not doing their due diligence) and churning out many each month who have no clue as to what they have learned or not learned. In my area, Central FL, they have 3-4 classes each year, still promising riches. That, to my way of thinking, is not upfront, realistic or working in the best interests of those they are deluding.

Re: shill: n,

I respect your opinion. It is a fact of life that there is almost always someone who is willing to work for less and sometimes for free--just for the experience. ;o(
