loan closers - any takers?

Recently rec'd email from them saying that we can sign with them for $$$ and them get this rebated with our next signing. They are notoriously late payers, right? Did anyone out there go for this line?

I hear they are bad people -- for lack of a better term

And they are notoriously LOW payers. I would never pay to sign up with anyone. You have no guarantee of ever getting any assignments from them and they should be paying YOU, not the other way around. I think this approach is just a scam. It's one thing if you are paying to advertise somewhere (like here) where multiple companies might find you. But for the privililedge of working with one (questionable) company? No way.

To my way of thinking, it's just another way to squeeze more money out of notaries in addition to their lowball pay for doing signings for them. I had to threaten them with collection and since that time I have watched with interest. They attempt to come off like they are the friend of the notary, wanting to help him or her reach the pinnacle of success, bla bla bla. I have their emails go into auto-dump, but before I press the flush button, I review them to see what their latest line is. No one needs the grief working with them.

loanclosers and loan-closers are two differen companies. I got an email from loanclosers and thought it was from loan-closers, since I worked with the latter before.

Loan-closers paid me on time but I havent heard from them in almost a year and they called me last night to do a reverse mortgage for $55. pffffffft I passed! That is what I pay for 3 dyas worth of gas. I have done over 3000 miles in just under 45 days. I get paid more doing mystery shops than in loan signings.

I would love to have some information on the mystery shop company you work for if you woundn't mind passing it along. Need to keep busy during slow times.
