Wow!!! I am absolutely blown away by what I just read.

Let me set the record straight. I along with a partner, started a small signing company a few months ago. I am a retired Escrow Manager and have, along with my husband, been doing signings for about 6 years. Our partner is from Gilbert, AZ. HE is in the mortgage business, has a lot of contacts and HE, not I, is marketing the company through his contacts.

Poor Shoshana was only trying to help me out by posting something nice about our company. I know how tough it is out there now and lost over $2,000 last year because of non payment by bad signing companies. We just wanted any new notaries we hired to know they will get paid.

I asked Shoshana to post a comment about our company on our listing. It looks like she posted a message on Notary Talk instead and she got slammed for it.

No, we are not advertising.
No Shoshana does NOT HAVE any interest in the company. She is just a really good notary who did some work for me and for some people I referred to her.
No, we are not going to steal work from anyone elses company and frankly, if you are that
insecure you don't belong in this business.

The problem is, if you pay 50%, then the notary is NOT getting paid. I have never worked for you, but I DO work for many very good signing services. They always pay full fee and promptly.

There is NO excuse for not paying the notary. SS make more than enough on the ones that do fund to pay the differrence. If you don't set money aside, than YOU shouldn't be in the business.

glad to see you are here, we have worked with Carol and her husband for years and they are wonderful, if they call you...... you can be assured they will pay you.
And as far as 50 percent, that is a good margin.

and Industry Standard. JoJo it is what it is, and your statements are way to general.
But you are free to say NO when they call.

If Shoshana has not posted it in Signing Central, she should. It always amazes me--on this site there is constant griping about no work, lowball offers, slow-pay & no pay. Let someone good show up & they don't know how to act. It still came across as advertising vs.
recommendation.

That was my fault because I do not frequent this message board. However, she did get a lot of notaries signing up on her site. So that was good. I am happy for that.
