Express Mobile Notary & Loan Signing LLC
This nationwide signing service is located in Gilbert, AZ. (No, it's not my company.) They are looking for companies nationwide. I did a job for them recently and was paid in less than 30 days. The owners are very responsible and ethical. They will pay 50% for a no-sign. Their website is: www.expressmobilenotaryllc.com . Their phone numbers are: 623-243-7625 or 866-716-6658. Ask for Carol.

Why would anyone want to work for a company that "pays 50% for a no-sign?" If you put them on your schedule, print the docs, and drive to the borrower's home you need to be paid full fee.
I'll break it down for you. You put a closing on your schedule. One or two other companies call you to a close at the same time scheduled. Can't double book and the time for the company wants is cut in stone, so you turn it down. Out possible income.
Now, you wait for documents (late, of course). Print the docs. It costs money to print them. Toner and paper are not free.
Drive to the borrowers house or other disignated place (10 minutes to 2 hours away).
Hey, if you don't value your time and money, go for it!
Also, if your fees are based on whether or not the borrower's sign the documents, you then become an interested party.

I will typically accept 50% for a no-sign - but the fee is such that the 50% is enough to compensate me for the work I've done up to the "I'm not gonna sign this" point - usually immediately on the HUD or Note...
My question here is 50% of what? If this company only pays $75-$100 per assignment, then the 50% doesn't cut it...IMO
BTW..is this advertising?

Yes, I believe so. Not to mention, there are 64 nsa's within 10 miles of her. I wouldn't list my favorite co's contact information under those circumstances. I have plenty of companies that pay within one week. Oh yes, they also pay 100% regardless if the borrower's sign and treasure every one of them!

In my opinion, if a notary sits at the BO's table and does any kind of work, they are entitled to full fee. If they are told to leave right away, then 50% should suffice. I have read a few times of NSA's not getting paid because the loan didn't fund. Can someone please tell me what that has to do with the job the NSA was contracted to do??

What difference is it if you are told to leave the table right away? So it cuts half an hour off your time, so you are expected to lose HALF your money? It is not going to cost any less to print, drive, etc just because your signing is shortened by half an hour. Besides, the time that is spent with the notary or borrower to contact the loan officer, lender or title company takes just as long as the rest of the signing would have taken.

Big difference. The job you were contracted to do was not done. This is an industry standard. Some companies will only pay half even if you signed 90% of docs and then the BO refused. My point is if you started the signing, you should be paid in full. Plus, who drives 2 hours to a closing?

Many people in the midwest do. We might live 45 miles away, but it could take 1 1/2 hours to get there because of the terraine, slowing down for cities, etc.
As far as starting the signing, from the time you take down their identification, the signing has started. If the loan is cancelled, it is because of miscommunication. Why should the notary be penalized because someone didn't do their job?

Awful strange that you are right there in that zip code Shoshana. Do you really have an interest in this company and don't want it to get deleted for being advertising ?
I can tell you from experince that you will not get anywhere like that on this board.

"They are looking for companies nationwide."
Aren't we all looking for companies nationwide to utilize our services locally?
Is this company soliciting business from TCs or offering business to notaries?

Sorry, I did not proof read. They are looking for NOTARIES
I meant to say they are looking for NOTARIES nationwide. They have a couple of title companies in the mdiwest right now. Tony, I can't believe you think I would lie to you. The co-owner is my friend Carol Ray in Sun City. You can look her up on another database. Tony, Carol will call you tomorrow. I am crushed that you would get on this site and purposely try to ruin my reputation. I demand an apology. Shoshana

'I have completed more than 4000 loan signings since 2002.'
-from your profile-
Wow, that comes out to about 55 per month for the last six years. Maybe I should move to Arizona!

Re: 'I have completed more than 4000 loan signings since 2002.'
Are you calling me a liar? Most of them were in CA. I was doing 80-100 signings per month in the early days. We were all busy from morning till night. It really was a full time job in those days. If you don't believe me, ask a bunch of old-timers.

Re: 'I have completed more than 4000 loan signings since 2002.'
That is very believeable. I've done over 2500 since 2003. I was part time for the first two years. In 2005 I was averaging 50-60 per month. Obviously with the downturn it is half of that now.

And then there are those who were well connected and established, with good, well-paying tc clients before the "bubble" began. It's entirely possible, but probably not accomplished by very many - even without doing low-ball assignments. BUT, it's very important to note that that's looking backwards. I doubt many - if any - will be able to repeat that over the next several years.

My apologies, I did not intend to call you a liar,
I'm just floored at that type of volume and would be happy if I could get some of that volume, hence, my threat to move to Arizona.

Re: My apologies, I did not intend to call you a liar,
Thanks I accept your apologies. I guess I have been too defensive after being accused of various and sundry things in the last 18 hours. Yes, those were the good old days. Busy from morning until late into the night most days. That's why I am now doing other things to augment my notary income (mortgages, insurance and financial services). Shoshana

Re: 'I have completed more than 4000 loan signings since 2002.'
I see this has been straightened out but you apparently haven't been in this business very long. From 2002-2005 anyone who wanted to work (and lived in an area with people) easily did 100+ loans a month, every month.
