Field Inspection Update

Last month, there were several posts about inspection work and a company listing that was for sale. I mentioned something about being interested in purchasing Becca_FL inspection list but was afraid that it would contain the same companies and information that I purchased over a year ago from another source. Becca_FL’s list sells for less than $10. The list I purchased elsewhere cost me $80. Well, Becca offered to send me her list and in exchange I would provide candid feedback to NotRot members. I’ve had the list for less than two weeks, but thought I would post my “preliminary findings” (I love that word - - preliminary - - it sounds so important).

1. I was surprised at the number of companies listed. For the price of $9.99 I expected the list to be 1-2 pages long. This multiple page listing far exceeded my expectations.

2. So far, I have applied to about five different companies. Most of the hot links are still current. So if you save the document to your computer, it is very easy to click on the link and be directed to the website. A few links are expired but I a quick Google search will direct you to the company’s website without any trouble.

3. There is quite a bit of information regarding BPOs. I did not expect this. While I am not qualified to pursue this line of work, those of you who are should benefit from this information.

4. So far, I have seen only one company on Becca’s list that is also on the $80 list. My concerns about receiving duplicate information seem unwarranted. Granted, I haven’t gone through the entire list but so far, it has been promising.

I will provide another update in a few weeks. So……as of today, I feel that I can recommend this product.

I hope this information is helpful for those of you involved in or considering inspection work.

I will say that I think that Becca is one of the best since sliced bread
I got the list and I applied for jobs as a merchandiser. I got a call 3 days later with a reputable company. I only worked 8 hours last week but got a call that they liked my "ambition" to work so much that they are booting me up to 32 hours a week.

It's well worth the cost.

Thanks for your honest opinion, Michelle.

Loretta, I am thrilled to hear your good news! I received my first check from my new merchandising gig today and was I happy it came when it did. Granted, it's not huge, but it is very helpful.
