Flagship Title - 60+ days to pay

Yes, I know, I know. I have read the Signing Central comments and have added my own, thank you. Just wanted to alert new members that Flagship Title not only says they pay 60+ days AFTER the loan funds but they also require you to send an email to [e-mail address] if you are calling them about accounts payable. I'll bet they don't tell anyone calling about accounts receivable to "send an email". LOL

Sharon,
You are so right. I have been calling and emailing Flagship Title for the last three months about payments for a closing I did in March. Everyone in the company gives you an excuse. The owner or her sister will not even reply back to my emails. But everyone in the company is still getting paid out of another account. It is very sad how they are running there business and now I received and email yesterday, "Notice to all Vendors"; letting us know about there new pay schedule.

I would look up their company status in the State they operate out of and see if they have some kind of formal complaint form and get it, fill it out, fax a copy of the filled out form to Flagship title and give them a very short opportunity to pay you and tell them that if you didn't have your check in the full amount that is due and owing you, you will proceed to file the complaint with the State. Companies don't like to have their names on complaint files with the state. JMO, I am not an attorney and don't profess to be one (even though I worked for them for 30 years) and I respectfully request that you do not construe this suggestion to be legal advice as that is not what it was meant to be - just an opinion. Hope this helps.

Here's a link:

Look them up as an agency (not an agent) and type in Flagship Title Services. It will show you their active appointment information (with Stewart Title and First American Title). You can look up the owner, Kimberly D O'Donoghue, as an agent.

Sharon - couple of messages down I posted where to file a complaint and question the company solvency due to their email. BOI in VA is interested in hearing from folks like us - they audit them to be sure they don't close their doors - just do it. All of you that are owed money should - I did and sent a copy of the email they sent out to their vendors........
