LIA Signing - Out of business?

So I made the mistake of trusting LIA Signing at the end of April when they said they have new accounting system and they are getting checks on time. So, needless to say I did 2 signings at the end of April and have yet to get paid for them. They don't answer any calls or emails. I have turned them into the BBB and Wisconsin's Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Protection. Well, I tried to call them once again today and one number is stating mailbox is full and on the other there is no answer at all. Does anyone know what is going on? If I have one more company file bankruptcy on me, I may have to do the same thing. I have gotten pickier about who I work for but it doesn't help for the ones that was a lesson learned to late.

After getting burnt by SOX 3 years ago, I learned to read this forum everyday. That's how I knew LIA is a deadbeat. And, that's how I refused to accept signings 3 times when LIA called me.

Tami, on the "Notary Talk" page on this website, there is an orange search button near the top. Click that and do a search on LIA. Also, sign in to this website and click on the "Signing Central" tab. Look up LIA and you will find a lot of info that way as well.

Tami, if you will go back to the discussions from yesterday you will see one on LIA. Just click on the "prev" button at the top of the page and scroll down until you see the name.

This, too is incorrect as of today. Gotta give it to Lia. They are a step ahead all the time. Time to let our SOS's know what is going on. They have to be licensed with every state that they do busines in.
