I got a call to do a signing but cannot find anything about them. I accepted the closing but she did not give me their address. I only got a confirmation with their phone and fax number on it. It is making me a little suspicious.

They were fine the first two signings I did but when I realized the amount of work included in their purchase closings, I raised my fee to $100. They got pretty upset and have never called me again.

They thought $100 was too much for a purchase closing? Was this overnight or edocs? From the sounds of it, you probably had to fax docs in for funding from the closing.

I would not do a purchase under those circumstances, even if the docs were overnighted, for $100.
