As bad as business is, I turned down a job when Lia signing called me. I wish I had asked them how much they were willing to pay.

I turned down an offer of $85 for a refi w/edocs last night. The call came at 7:45 PM and the signing was to take place at a local hospital. The offer was well below my minimum fee, not to mention it being a last minute request and the difficulties potentially involved in performing a loan signing in such a venue.

This is when the signing company makes the most money Title company call them tell them what they have and they will pay big bucks to get it done and Lia charges more alot more.Then they go after a notary that wants to do it at a low ball fee.They make all the money and you work for free.Plus Lia will never pay You.

At least for us, you are absolutely wrong. Our customers know they will always get the same flat fee. Helping out a TC when they are in trouble will get you more of their business. If you try to gouge them, you will lose in the long run.

I have to totaly agree with ( The National Notary Signers ) this time.

I never, never try to gouge my customers for any closing. If its a last minute signing, I treat as if its a normal closing.

The fee offered was $85 for an edoc siging. That is nowhere near my minimum fee for such a signing.

The lateness of the call and circumstances of the signing (at a hospital) were just additional items that always need to be factored in.

I'm not the cheapest out there, but I don't expect to be paid $200-300 for every closing either. It all depends on the amount of time and materials I have to commit to get the job done, not to mention enough profit to allow me to stay in business.

The bad signing companies dont pay their notary
The Good signing companies pay notary
LIA is a Low life signing company.

Plus in my business i will charge more if i have to do extra work i dont do it for free.so i get more work.Business is Business we are doing this to make money.
If you dont have any turn downs. Then your prices are TO Low.
If you have a lot of turn downs Your prices are to high.
Greediness often comes back to bite you in the form of reduced customers.

I Dont hate signing companies, I Hate the Bad signing companies....I HATE when the signing companies dont pay the notaries..Makes me mad LIA Crooks do this to the notary.

Lia could offer you 25 grand for a closing, you STILL won't get it.
