I got a call yesterday for a Reverse Mort. signing with edocs for this company.

The fee they offered??? $70. That's right, $70 I didn't stutter folks. I laughed out loud and then told the person calling I was sorry for laughing. She asked what my fee would be. I told her my fee even knocking $25 off my normal fee because it was right around the corner. She said "can't you go any lower?". I told no that if she couldn't get anyone to do it please call me back.

They haven't called yet.....

If You did take it? ck the hud has 250.00 on it for them..They did nothing just took the call from title and called you and fwd the docs to you..and you work for free. And you did all the work and took and all the liability...most all signing co.s do this.

But i know bankserv they are lowballers to but they go on volume.
edocs they pay 95.00 but put on hud 150.00
overnite they pay 50.00 but put 110.00 on hud.
they are trying to make 60-55 dollars on each deal

Oh forgot to say most hud s have a pad even if notary fee is only 150 on hud the signing co will bump it and tell title the notary had to drive far and charge title 250 title they take it from the pad.i have seen them do this too.i would take the lowball fee do job call title tell them the next time you have a notary need in my area call me.i work with you on anything you have.also keep title escrow ph # if you have any problems call them tell on the signing company the escrow will not use them again. Most escrows like working with a notary.

I had a real eye opener last week. I don't know why but I didn't usually look at the HUD to see what the SS was being paid. OMG was I pissed. She is making more than I was. It had the SS name on the HUD. That did it for working for them anymore. And...to make things worse, they are trying to get me to go down in fee's. I realllllly need to finish getting my insurance liscense done. Thankfully I've only invested close to a year in this business and it's not going to be such a loss for me but I really feel for others who have. It's alot of nerve asking us to take a hit because business is slow. It's slow for us too and we are the one's doing the freaking driving and work. I'd love to make alot of $$$ just for sending an e-mail and making a phone call. I know not all SS's are like this. It's just this one company I've been doing work for. That is now in my past. I hate feeling like i've been screwed over. Lesson learned. LOL, BS took me off their list. I worked for a broker and he told me how much they charged him to use their service. Ready for this one? $600.00. Unreal. And they want us to take under $100.00? I think i'm slowing phasing myself out of this. Ok, i vented.
