No harmful intentions meant at all.

I did not mean to cause such a contraverse in my post last night.

All that I was passing along was what a TC had told me.

I do agree with most of the posters about some TC wanting to go direct to the NSA.

I also know that there are TC that DON"T want to make 10 phone calls to find one NSA. They don't have the office people to do it anymore. I am suure that most posters here know that TC have really cut back on staff.

Those that are making $150 to $250 per closing, I am more than happy for them. I give kudos to those that can find TC to do that for.

Again, I meant no harm or hurt to any NSA in my post last night.

I don't see a need for you to apologize. All you did was post what is going on in the market.
I think it was the "$90" that was the hot button. It's easy for a lot of notaries to forget where they came from. If it weren't for ss, most of us wouldn't be in this business. Sure, now that I have a lot more experience I am working mainly for tc's and getting paid directly--sometimes named on the HUD. There are a lot of really good ss out there, working hard to get contracts with various companies, as I'm sure you do. I just hate when they feel it is ok to attack you & NNS--no need for it.

Hi MW,
I am hearing the same thing from a few new title companies, they are just paying less. Just wish I had more work for you and all in VA and NC!! Hang in there!!

it was pretty telling however

Some of the post from the "regulars" was very rude, and unprofessional. (NAME CALLING?)
NO REASON FOR THAT.
I was really surprised how the whole thread went.
Fees are very near and dear to everyone heart

Tony, its true the fees are changing, and for many reason so many signing agents, and so little work.
There is a reason Walmart is so sucessful right?

I found out this week, that my competitors are paying kick backs to Escrow or Brokers for each file
This is the borrowers money. It is amazing

I think the whole thread should of gone much better... it embarrased me for some.

Tony I didn't read the post but get the jest. The business has changed and people are being forced to drop fees, it's no one taking advantage in my mind, it's just lowering fees due to business. Look at the overall market.

There have been rude posters for years on this forum, nothing new.

good......we need to help clean out these sneaky lo's who also fail to disclose a lot of things to there borrowers. ie: yield spread that they recieve, and are worse than used car salespeople in my estimation......

Re: it was pretty telling however - Quack, quack

I love nothing better than coming up with silly names for silly people...it makes me laugh out loud and lately, I've been full of laughter.

Bottom line is that lousy SSs and lousy NSAs have cheapened this business and made it more about price because they have no business sense and must sell their services on price alone which is never a good business model. Even Sam Walton understood this and added smiley faces and greeters to his rock bottom prices because he understood it's not always about price, but also about service and perceived value. Marketing 101, folks.

Let's look back... waaay back to 1993...

The boom wasn't happening then. 'Signings' were few and far between for everyone. But TC & SS paid MUCH better. I am sure that TC charges have increased across the board in the last 15 years. So, explain to me why they are hurting? Could it be that THEY need to tighten their own belts a bit and stop trying to maintain previous revenue at the expense of the notary?
