OT: Bruce

Just popping in briefly.
As Paul mentioned Bruce is in the hospital.
I woke up at 3am yesterday morning and Bruce was having trouble breathing (Don't know why I woke up, but it is blessing I did). I shook him and he looked at me but wasn't "focused"
I immediately dialed 911. Paramedics were here in about 5 minutes (the fire station is at the top of the street luckily). They checked him out. He didn't know who I was or my name. Didn't know the dog's name, didn't know what year it was or who the President was. That frightened me. They decided to transport him to the hospital and they let me ride with them in the ambulance.
We got to the hospital and they put him in an examining room. He was more focused by that time and knew who I was, but he didn't know what happened or how he got to the hospital. He complained of pain across his chest. Hurt when he breathed or moved. I gave them his cardiologist's name so they could call him.
I stayed until his boss came to pick me up around noon. I called him later and he said the doc said he had bronchitis.

I just talked to him (when he is in hospital I always call him 3 times a day) and now they don't know what is wrong with him. Two docs have seen him today as well as his pulmonologist. But now they don't know what is wrong.
My friend's daughter is coming to take me to see him in the morning. So maybe we will know more tomorrow.
