Office Max rocks with thier printer warranties!!!

I purchased a Brother laser- multi function last year in February. It just started printing bad after about 60K copies. I thought that it was the drum- so I bought a new one. I thought it was the toner bought a new one. Well- it still was not printing good.

I took it into Office Max today with my original receipt/ warranty (that I had in my income taxes). They gave me a brand new printer in the box. Told me that only thing that I had to do was to buy a new 1 year warranty for $24.95. I said OK- sounds great to me...brand new printer for $24.95. The price of the printer is now $199.00 and I paid $249.00 for it last year. They gave me the difference in cash and subtracted the new warranty from that.

I walked out with a brand new printer (toner and drum) in the box and $24.00 in my pocket. I will buy from them again- hands down!!!!! Don't know if this is just my city or what....but they delivered on their warranty!!!! This is very rare these days!!!!

town. Staples is also rockin w/ their policies... but it might be the small town I am in.

also Lowes stands 100% behind their products.

I had purchased some little thing...CID maybe, which didn't work. Returned it, had to pay 'restocking fee'....and watched them put it back on the shelf for sale. That was the last time I set foot in a Best Buy.

I live in a large city and the same thing happend to me with staples new printer and cash back I always purchase the warranty and it has saved me lot of money over the years and I love the fact that it always easy as pie

I've heard that a lot of notaries purchase printers from OM for that exact reason--they just replace it if there is a problem & you can't beat that.

I had bought a printer in July of last year and in may it just would not print at all. I called support they tried some things and they could not fix so they sent me a new printer.
