PA notaries
Please! I need some help finding who in PA I file a complaint with. I know Title Companies are regulated by someone? Maybe the PA Dept of insurance?..or someone else? I can find no answers. I have (as have many others) been stiffed by Land Options, and other companies operating out of PA. There MUST be some place/one to file a greivance. Any help would be much apperciated! TIA Les

Perhaps you are looking for the PA Dept of State Professional Compliance Office:

There is also the PA Dept. of Banking, and the State Attorney General's Office. Go to the PA homepage (called PA Powerport) and you should be able to research the site and find some info there. There is a collection agency in LA called Los Angeles Collection Services who will collect our debts - anything over $40 - but he charges 40% in collection fees. That seems high to me, but I guess getting $60 of $100 is better than $0. Hope this helps you.

Has anyone had any results from Los Angeles Collection Services? I turned one account over to them (I know company skipped--is out of business), but never heard from them. I called once & they tried to tell me that had located them. I knew that was a lie.

Title companies - agents and underwriters are regulated by the PA Dept. of Insurance. You can file a complaint through their web site portal or call them. The have lots of investigators looking at title insurers now and any information would be welcomed.
