Quality Title & Abstract/The Jorday Group

Has anyone had recent experience with them. They are in New Jersey and Maryland. Stephanie keeps e-mailing me applications. Anyone else getting them? I've checked the orange button, but nothing recent there.

This company is also known as Homeowners Title Agency. I did a job for them at the end of July 2008. I called today asking about my payment, and found out that they pay as follows:

Closings that disburse between the 30th and 14th of the month will be paid on the 1st of the following month.

Closings that disburse between the 15th and 29th will be paid on the 15th of the following month.

If the 1st or 15th fall on a weekend or holiday, checks will be cut on the next business day.



It's easy to see why payment takes more than 30 days to reach the notary from this company. My deal funded the first part of August, but after my call they told me that my payment was mailed last Friday, Sept. 5th. Hopefully it will show up this week - at approx 6 weeks from date of service that's a long time for a TC to take on payment.
