Thank You Title and Signing Companies
I just had a closing cancel on me today and I'm not upset. Why? Because my contact at the Title Company kept me informed every step of the way. This person really respected my time and money. I told her how much it meant to me.
When someone demonstrates this much respect for me, I will go out of my way (bend over backwards, go the extra mile, turn the other cheek, do them a favor) to help them. I just wish more companies were like this.

That should be the norn, not the exception. Your TC/SS should keep you informed and also should call you when docs are sent. No one should be sitting at a computer waiting on docs.

why
didn't you have your client call when docs were sent? Then you could have gone about whatever else (even if it was just snoozing in the sun) you needed to do.

because you have the time to do so these days...however, in busier times, I always tell vendors that I must have the documents by a certain time....hopefully they can come through...if not, I move on to my next appointment.
