Trying to put a fast one
Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with Signing Services calling with a signing, they accept your fee right away (and some of these companies never pay the fee you have quoted in the past - usually lowballers) and then you call the borrower only to find out they don't speak English?
Today, by the time I was able to get ahold of one of the Borrowers, 2 hours had already passed and the signing appointment was in just about 2 hours. When I called the SS back, they try and argue with you saying that they can not find anyone in the area that speaks Spanish but someone will be there that does speak English and can translate. Why didn't they ask me when they called if I spoke Spanish or if I was willing to do the signing with a translator? I would have told them no, but I have several people I can refer that do.

No translation needed for the deaf
Most deaf people can read, so there's no need for a translator for deaf signers. I write down some basic info when we begin, letting the signer know that I will point to the relevant facts on the docs. If there's a question they write it down and I find the answer on the relevant document.
