they called me today and offered me $70 for edocs. I told her politely - no thank you.

I would like to know who is doing edocs for $70!!! You are not doing any of any favors by taking such a low fee for edocs.

You should have counter-offered!

I have worked with them and like them.

I don't care what any title company or signing service advertises or tell me they will pay; I always tell them my price and many times they end up calling me back later and agreeing to meet my fee.

I did counter them and they would not meet my fee. and no it was not in Quincy, IL. It was chicago area.
