We need a national signing agent co-op...

That would cater to Title Companies only.

I have rejected the last five signings for the same city because the Signing Service has a bad rap of no pay or too much hassle to collect. If the SS tells the Title Co. that they can't find a notary, the Title Co. calls the NEXT SS who ALSO happens to be a Shuck & Jive artist. The Title Companies must be losing business this way.

Someone who has the web geek abilities should build a site that is ONLY available to Title Companies that would put us on the HUD and pay us direct upon funding. The individual(s) that build this site would allow only CNSAs to enroll for a fee to help maintain the website - the more notaries that enroll, the lower the fees as the cost would be spread out among more of us. With being placed on the HUD and not having to fight so hard to get paid, I would gladly accept the risk of NOT being paid if the loan doesn't fund. I think I would lose less money that way than keep getting burned by SSs that go bad.

How about it Harry? Turn your geeks loose and set something up?

What you are describing sounds very similar to how some of

the state Networks are run.

Why don't you try and start a Network in your state?

Market your services directly to TCs and a select few SSs.

Or MAYBE we could just have them utilize NotarRotary.

Granted, you do have a lot of non-paying people that are listed on this site. Maybe this can be for paying-only members since everyone else is getting free work from it.

I'm only pointing this out because advertising for another website is contrary to supporting this website. If we are getting business from NotaryRotary, we should be suipporting it.

I do like the individual state networks; however, for dealing with state-specific issues. I know I very much appreciate the WMLC network of which I am a member!

'advertising for another website is contrary to supporting this website.'

I wouldn't intentionally do that. I've received more work from here than the other two.
If NR set up a sister site for TCs only, then we could choose who we will take chances with - TC only, or TC & SS.

You ALWAYS have that choice. No one is making you taking closings from SS. If you don't want to have SS calling you, say so in your profile.

Well, there ARE some stellar agencies out there

only problem is they don't call often enough. TCs are hard to come by out here for some reason (maybe I'm TOO rural) and I've only had one in months. A site specific to them would help to funnel them into a hassle free site where they would make a call to us instead of making calls to agencies.

Then again, it would help a lot if the SS got banned from accessing our profiles if they have less than 3 or 4 stars in signing central.

....and as long as I'm dreaming...
