This happens now and then...it never lasts long...just hit the back button, then go to the message again.

Re: Tried that, Lynn...didn't work...keeps failing to connect

Have you tried logging out, shutting down the computer, and turning off the electricity to your computer? Try doing that, waiting at least 30 seconds, then turn it all back on.

That usually helps me when my Yahoo starts running slow. It is worth a try. Good luck!

Yes, I have a couple of different Yahoo addresses and I have had intermittent trouble accessing my messages for several days. I can get to my Yahoo home page, but then when I click on the inbox, I get a message that says something like "Oops! You've stumbled upon a temporary problem we're having...."

This may not help you right this minuute but you can sign up for gmail and then on your gmail you can link your yahoo account to your gmail account as a safety backup in case you have this problem again you can still have your yahoo mail going over to your gmail account. it is free.

Also, you could save your files to your computer before printing. You mentioned that you were in the middle of printing when this happened. Once you're done printing, you can delete it.

GREAT idea! I followed the instructions but when I sent an

email to my yahoo account it did not also go to my gmail account. Am I understanding how this is supposed to work? Shouldnt the email have gone right to both yahoo and gmail accounts? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Thank you so much everyone...appreciate the help

Yahoo did come back so it appears everything is well for now...puts you into a panic when you're staring at the little notice that you have 7 pieces of mail, you move your cursor over the envelope (where you can preview your mail) you're staring at closing docs for Monday!!

Anyway, all is well now....backup e-mail account is a very good idea - might look into that...I think I have an e-mail address through HughesNet (I should - I pay through the nose for their internet service!!)
