Zip Code searches are TORTURING me!!!

I keep getting calls for locations that are 'only 34 miles' from me.
The call yesterday was for a signing 62 miles away (2hr, 20 min one way) and I just got off the phone for another one that is 50 miles (1hr, 20min one way).

I finally figured it out;

The zip code search goes from the CLOSEST edge of my zip code to the CLOSEST edge of the other zip code, which is approximately 34 miles away. To bad they don't use Google Earth for mapping. It's not perfect but WAY better than map quest or zip code searches.

Yep..that's close to how it works for me too

MapQuest takes them from my town center to their borrowers' house (sometimes) - MapQuest can't find my home location...I got a call the other day - they said it was 5 miles from me - I knew better and it worked out to be 20-30 miles one way...

That's why it's better to ask for the address rather than the zip and look up address to address.
