Land -surfing. Just stand and ride the wave...
Ya'll may think I'm weird and yeah, you're probably right, but I kind of enjoy them... As long as no one is hurt.

I had just gotten out of the shower, it almost knocked me over. Thankfully it wasn't stronger, nobody needed to see my naked butt running screaming down the street.

I was sitting in the Dr.'s office and the room swayed - weird feeling. I thought it was closer than LA.

FELT IT PRETTY GOOD IN SANTA CLARITA VALLEY...
..enough to scare the heck out of me. I was in the Northridge quake so I am always terrified, but I am more prepared now and know just to stay put. I was told by a fireman that the best thing to do is just roll out of bed and curl up in a fetal position coverning your head. Standing the the doorway is not the best thing as they say. The worst thing you could do is run out of your home and do NOT go down stairs as they may be structurally unsafe.

I live in Corona, and it was centered about 11 miles west of me. Scared me. Felt like the house was going to tumble down. Things fell off of shelves, and several picture frames broke.

Need new shocks or struts on my car...
I was driving along on my way to drop off some docs, listening to news radio, so I knew the moment it hit. I couldn't feel a thing. Guess with my old beater I'm used to a little bounce or two. No one around me seemed to notice anything either, though. Maybe the ground is more solid in the area I was driving through.
