Re: how to start signing?
Click on the orange search button on the "Notary Talk" page and look up message # 33325 - it will tell you everything you need to know.

Oh yes, WDMD is correct! In Maryland, you must also have a Title Producer's License in addition to your notary commission.

First, put pencil to paper, point down. Oh, what is it you
are signing? Maybe you need to explain in more detail...I may be misunderstanding.

If you carefully read the posts in here, you probably will decide not to start signing.

I agree W/JohnnyB!
The excess wear & tear on vehicles is tough. I am out of business for the rest of the week due to getting $1,200 of work done on my vehicle. I don't know if it's the addition of ethanol at the pumps or what, but my tanks and fuel system need a complete overhaul.
- so here I sit for the rest of the week, nothing left to do but to charm you all with my wit & wisdom :-(

Nomad/OR Ethanol is not cracked up to what they say it is
You will see in the very near future many gas stations pulling tanks out of the ground due to the ethanol eating the lining of the inside of these tanks. Ethanol has its advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I hate it. It is not cheaper to produce either like they said it would be. Sorry for your troubles.

Be a self-starter...read a month's worth of posts...
...and you will find other posts giving you the information that you need. You might decide not to be a Signing Agent at all as the business is on it's butt. You will not be successful if you expect to be spoon fed.
