loanclosers.com
It has been a year since I signed up with this company. At the time, they advertised a special price and stated they had many assignments in my coverage areas. I never got a call or assignment from them. The other day, I got a notice that loanclosers.com had tried to collect another annual fee (SunCoast-Paypal). I never authorized this company to continue deducting a annual fee. I also have a problem with them keeping my account information on file. I sent a email to the webmaster(since telephone number is not listed) with no response. Today, I got another notice regarding the second attempt to collect. Shame on you loanclosers.com!
Fellow notaries, I think it is wise to change/refresh your account numbers from time to time. If I had not practiced what I am preaching, I would be fighting with loanclosers.com to get my fee returned. Loanclosers.com, I think I deserve an explanation. If I am incorrect, I will have no problem issuing a public apology.

Umm, ... you paid a fee to receive work?!
Please tell me that I'm misunderstanding here.
You gave a company $$ via credit / debit card, and they were supposed to call you first when they has a signing in your area, then give you $$ for doing the signing?
Please tell me you didn't do that. Please.

Yes Ernest, I did pay a $27 fee at the time. When you know better, you do better! Since then, I have built a successful business and know which sites to subscribe too, such as the one we are currently communicating on.

Whew! Glad to hear you learned quickly! Thank you!
Sharing your experience with everyone here will save some newbies from making that mistake.
Bottom line: Never, ever, pay a company to give you work.
Also, while we're at it, never give volume discounts in advance. "We'll give you all the work you can handle if you accept $ instead of $$". Don't bite! You won't get the promised volume. Period.

I'll bet you $100 that you did authorize them to do this when you signed up with them.

I am not willing to bet, but I did look over the contract before raising a "hissy"and could not find a clause that stated the deduction would occur on a annual basis. As I stated earlier, I tried to contact the webmaster and did not get a response. I am not perfect and have no problem fessing up when I mess up. My reason for posting here was to get feedback from someone who might have signed up with these folks and know the correct answer. $27 might seem small, but if you multiply the number by 100 (I did not know) that is significant. Maybe this post can serve as "what you should know."
