Ameridocs in CA
I just took a signing for Ameridocs in CA. I don't understand something, and maybe I'm just not thinking straight. When I took the signing, I was told that they were out of Costa Mesa which was confirmed when I did a reverse phone number lookup for (949) 764-9444.
But I just got my confirmation sheet & the address listed on it is 1800 Nice Dr., Suite 1-104, Corona, CA 92882. Both the Costa Mesa and Corona addresses have the same phone number. Does anyone else think there's something fishy here?

I never closed for them but to me that is fishy. Just make sure you have as much information as possible if you have to chase down payment. Do a BBB search and see what comes up as well. I decided that if a business does not show up on the BBB site and is an accredited business then I will not close for them. I may be cutting myself out of some money but after my last experience with E-Volve. I no longer take closings from just anyone anymore.

I've never worked for Ameridocs, but the Corona address shows on Google Maps and Mapquest aerial images as located in a condo, townhome, or apartment complex. It's hard to tell which, but it's definitely a residential unit with carports. Corona has a 951 area code, I know this as my mom lives there.

I worked for them in July 31, 2007 Paid on 9-10. I have the same phone number as you do but I have the Costa Mesa Address on my records.

This is why I'm confused. The BBB and the posts I've seen here has the Costa Mesa address but the confirmation sheet has the Corona address. Which should I use? I don't understand why there's 2 address with the same phone number.

I had the same problem with another company, If your confused on where to send back the docs. I used whatever was on the confirmation to send back the docs and left it at that. Just keep the tracking information. I log it in my journal so I can find it easier.

I've worked with them many times and they always pay promptly. Why are you worried about the address? Usually I have to send the docs back to a title company and their confirmation is always very clear where to send them.

I'm not worried about where to send the docs. I'm wondering which address do I need to send invoices and/or chase them down if I don't get paid.

Re: a novel idea
I agree. I don't know this company, but in this age of virtual electronics, I wouldn't judge a company on this alone. For example, I use a phone service that I can program to ring on any phone I want, if I choose. The same number receives my faxes, sends them to my email (because that't how I set it up) and calls me to let me know I have a fax (or a voice message). I'd bet it's not the only service with this type of capability.

Signings in late 2006 and early 2007 - fair pay and within 30.
Even paid me full fee when BO refused to sign.

Probably just the principal address and satellite location.
I have an office, yet choose to work out of home at times due to the nature of the beast.
