Any info on "Notary Dont Close"

Rcvd email announcing the Notary Dont Close project. Has anyone have more detail about the project? Who is behind the project? Signing agents or Signing Companies? The web address is: Http://www.notarydontclose.com

Yes, and I'm a paying member (NotaryBeware). But with a half dozen new flakey (perhaps deadbeat) SS showing up almost daily, it can't hurt to have another. (looks like it's free too)

I also got that email. After looking at their website I got the impression that it was associated with XYZ.

Certified Signing Agents in PA

The kings of spam. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Once you're on their email list, it's nearly impossible to get off. Remember all the "how to" abstractor courses? Believe it's the same people.

I will never trust a site that makes it so darned hard to find out who's behind it. What are they hiding from?

Re: Looks Like Notary Beware

Nice catch - I didn't see the fine print the first time I looked, but the site design has changed since then so maybe it wasn't there then.

If you're going to lift someone else's disclaimer, it's generally considered bad form to leave their name in it...

How should I have done this and just for fulfillment of my own curiosity, why is this bad? I was not aware that this was a no-no. Thanx for the heads up Smile

I read my post again, and can see how that could confuse you... I should have said "they" instead of "you". Glad you were able to figure it out.

I signed up under my dummy acct - we'll see how much spam I get. LOL.

Must be fairly new, not many members yet, few original posts w/no replies. Boring!

I also don't like the name of this company/web site: Notary Don't Close

It sounds like bad English, enough to make me shudder, repeatedly.

"Notary Dont Close" Sounds like a song from the Musical...

(sans punctuation; non-union sign-maker.)

"Notary, don't close, we need you to drive -
Keep our loan alive...
Our Commissions must sur -vive...

Hey, NOTARY! Don't close.

Dear Notary, answer your phone, take our fee.
Pleeeeeeease won't you please just say yesss, and agree,
They expect you at three...

Hey, NOTARY! Don't close.

We've so much to sell, your income will swelll.
Simple stuff, we swear, always clear as a bell...
But no-funds, are no fun, 'cause they're on YOU, ah, well...

Hey, NOTARY! Don't close, Don't close. Don't close.
Oh, Notary, we need you, dont close."

[Snappy notary/SS dance number, Repeat all verses.]

Notary, don't close, we need you today -
Keep competitors away...

Hey, Notary! Don't close.

Answer your cell, take the heat.
Pleeeeeease. Don't close.

Don't close, Notary, Don't close."
