CitiMortgages HELOCs orLoans Anyone?
Is anyone doing any CitiMortgage HELOCS or equity loans anymore? It seems as though Citi is not issuing any more during these trying times of lowering equity and tighter credit. And certainly no more "clips" (Credit line increases). ????????????

Avg 10 or more a week till the first week of March, since then 4 for the last 3 weeks and none in the last 1.5 weeks.
Citi HELOCs just vanished, I would of known today if I would of had anything for Monday or Tuesday of next week... NADA.

Yes did one today at a Smith Barney office. Strange thing was that my appointment was scheduled at 3:00pm. At the same time another notary was there from another company to have him sign his first mortgage from Citi scheduled for 3:00pm as well. I had to sit in the lobby for 30 minutes so the other notary could go first....she had child care issues. I was late to my next appointment.

I could be making this up but didn't Citi
recently put a freeze on the Helocs they're holding now? I don't think anyone's doing much in the way of stand-alone Helocs anymore, for all the obvious reasons.

I dont think that they are pushing them in MI- right now either. Also, just heard on NPR- that Citi is in "trouble" along with the rest of the banks.....so that may be another factor.
