Flagship Title out of Virginia - not paying...

I see that there was a post a few days ago about them not paying. I did a job for them as a matter of a fact it was a last minute favor for them on 12/27/08. To date I have not been paid and emails and phone calls back and forth to Cindy with a bunch of excuses as to them checking into it.

I have been "d*cked" around for the past month with no progress. I read the past few emails and it seems most people in the past had no problems however with the recent closings there appears to be trouble in paradise. As if that wasn't enough not getting paid, they had the nerve enough to call me a couple of weeks ago to do another job and that is when I mentioned, "no money - no worky". The closer seemed nice and apologetic and said he would resolve the issue and I should have called him...well I have been calling him and Cindy with no money, still waiting!!!!

Any one else got any feed back on them?

Jackie - assuming that Flagship was acting as a SS (as was my experience with them) try contacting the TC on the deal and let them know the situation and ask for assistance with securing payment from Flagship. Flagship won't be happy with you for contacting the TC but it sounds like you've exhausted all other avenues. I stopped working for them a year ago because every deal is chaotic and then the 60+ days to pay on top of that. I did a lot of jobs for them but it just got to be too much of a hassle.

I was not happy reading this post as I just did a reverse mortgage for them on Monday and was assured I would be paid by Curtis. I am beginning to think I should call the lender and tell them of their repuation and see if they would be willing to cut me a check for my services.

I have also worked for them on 12/27/07 and I am still waiting for the payment. Each time I email and call, Cindy assures me that I will be getting my check soon.

Re: Flagship paid me after 90 days...

I finally got paid right around the 90 day mark. Almost to the T of 90 days.

After weeks and weeks of nagging and being told "we mailed and we are cutting it and mailing it to you". Good luck with others who choose to use them it will probably take a while to get paid.
