Follow up on Richmond Title

A few weeks ago I posted that after I waited 45 days I called and was told the check was mailed on 2/28/08. I waited another 2 weeks and still had not rec. the check. I called back again and was told I had to wait 30 days for them to cancell the check that was mailed which would be 3/28/08. Well 3/24/08 I rec. a check dated 1/18/08 postmarked 2/28/08 So I wanted everyone to know I did get paid

Thanks for posting that update - it's crazy that the post office took a month to deliver it! I have an outstanding invoice with Richmond Title that's at about 45 days right now. My first time ever working for them. I plan to call on Monday.

They probably ran through postage meter (for looks) then held. I see that from time to time, also see checks cut 30-60 prior to mailing. Becoming sleezy marketplace.

Oh wow, I never even thought of that! That's a much more probable scenario than the post office taking a month to deliver the envelope. I know that once in a while they take up to a week longer to deliver something but that's honestly pretty rare given the volume they do.

My original post was 3/14/08 but when I do a search for Richmond Title it it doesn't show up The earliest pot is 8/07 does any one know why? Oh buy the way even if the post office took a month to mail the check 2/28/08-3/24/08 remember the date on the check was 1/18/08

There seems to be a glitch in the search feature where it doesn't pick up posts that were made in the week or so prior. It will show up once more time has elapsed. If you sign in and search under your user name (this function only available to premier members) then the post will show up that way. And you're right - cutting the check on 1/18 and then waiting a month to mail/postmark it is NOT a good sign! I will not be accepting further work from Richmond Title.
