LSI Title escapes RESPA case over ‘no closing cost' loan
A class action case alleging RESPA kickback violations between LSI Title and a California mortgage broker is down one defendant, as a court has recently ruled that the RESPA allegations against LSI couldn't stand. But the broker remains in hot water, as the claims that it charged borrowers for title fees on ‘no closing cost' loans and engaged in deceptive practices are moving forward.
