They met my 'excess travel' fee....after 3 phone calls. They did not disclose that you must faxback over half a CW package. Then, when I renegotiated the fee for this; they agreed, but did not do it. Never again!

Just got a call from them. Quoted $XX for a Countrywide 50 miles away with faxbacks. I told them my fee started at $XXX and they said they would have to call me back. Sooooo glad they didn't call back. :-)

Lender's First Choice is OK sometimes and

they always pay quickly. They just don't want to pay my fees. Once in a while they will meet them but only after calling every cheap notary in the area. They pay within two weeks and are usually really nice to deal with. Happy Easter to everyone

When it absolutely has to be done they will pay the difference in fees, but every now and then when closing out the paperwork someone forgets to apply the additional fees. They always take care of it as soon as you notify them of the error. Never have problems working for them.

These people want to pay $50. (Or maybe $10) Yes, you may be able to get more, If you beg, and explain your travel costs and they REALLY need someone, and can't find anyone cheaper. How much is YOUR self-esteem worth? How much is your time, knowledge, experience, and expertise worth? NOTHING to these people. They just want somone cheap, with a stamp. Some out there qualify.... I don't!
