I never really comment to things like this but this is my take on it... Why would you ask about a company, someone gives you there opinion, then you still want to do it? I mean you had your mind set before you asked the question that its possible that they have changed, so the answer that anyone gave you be it positive or negative had no bearing on your ultimate outcome.

Sorry, I just read that and had to vent, I guess its because I am guilty of doing the same thing more times then not, and wonder why people look at me sideways!! :-) Everyone have a great night.

***So not trying to cause drama in anyway, just voicing my own opinion on the matter***

Please forgive my frustration, but now I need to vent. In the last 3yrs I think I have used this forum perhaps only about 4 different times and honestly just about every single time I have used it I received at least one rude reply. This is suppose to be a helpful and polite forum for all of us. I am sorry if I don't have all the answers or if I word it all incorrectly. Helpful feedback is all I am looking for. All of the other comments are really not necessary. Aren't we here to help one another and not criticize each other??

Which you apparently got in spades just by doing a search on the board, and that obviously wasn't good enough for you. If all you saw were bad reviews of the company, isn't that a pretty crystal clear answer? Or were you just planning to ignore it all if just one person popped up and said that they got paid in a timely manner?

2/15/2008 cheap, I revise my comments from before, fees unreasonable for C/W e-docs CA
2/12/2008 Do not pay, no response to voice messages, emails and faxes since 11/12/07 CA
2/5/2008 They Suck! Keep Away! Complete Joke CA
12/12/2007 Very Unprofessional, failed to pay since 09/25/07 CA
12/6/2007 No payment for July work; No response to many collections efforts. OR
12/5/2007 No pay, service Aug 06, still waiting for payment. CA
12/3/2007 Slo pay now no pay CA
8/6/2007 Great to work with pay within 30 days...

The old "We're under new management - pleeeaaase help us out," is a take-at-your-own risk indicator.

I've read posts here where a person is unsure when there are mixed reviews. I've read posts here where a person is unsure when there are old (as in a year or more) negative reviews. I have yet to read here or on any other forum where a person is unsure of taking a job when they read *really bad* reviews.

Considering that there are several recent comments about their actions, what would lead you to think that they have possibly changed? Will it take you being stiffed for payment to convince you that perhaps they haveN'T changed?

here should have just minded their own business at your request and just let you fall flat on your face with your 'whateva' befalls you. Prior to that, with exception of Cali, no one had been rude or unjust with you. Please, in the future, don't bother us with "I didn't get paid...anyone know how to collect"

JMHO - and, oh, Cali was just trying to get you to see your folly, and when you hear someone give you info you don't want, I can see your eyes rolling.

I certaintly dont think the way in which I answered you was rude, I was just making an observation. You asked a question...an opinion by a trusted and very experienced notary was given, then you try to look for another or shall I say an answer that you wanted to hear.

If I came off rude I apologize, as that wasn't my intent, again I am just saying and I even claimed it myself, its funny when people ask questions sometimes they are gonna do what they want to do know matter what the response is... so why ask the question in the first place!
