SacBee Headliner Today
In these lean times of our profession, I was shocked to read this headliner article this morning.

I just read this story in it's entirety. Although I realize these things do go on, I was quite "educated" at some of the points made in the story.
This quote really hit me: ""A notary seal is the most powerful identity theft and fraud tool you will ever find," Christopher said. "You can bring dead people back to life with it."
I think this is such an important article and yet I noticed no other comments being made on here. Perhaps you can repost with the headline being "Notaries can bring the dead back to life." Just a suggestion but I'd want to read that one!
Thanks so much for sharing this! I hope MANY will read this. This is exactly why I find it appalling that so many states do not regulate the industry. This isn't the 1800's! Fraud is rampant and yet many states require little or no training and amazingly no journal!
