Sprint "Simply Everything Plan"

Sprint has a new plan that includes unlimited nationwide calls, text, email, pictures, and push to talk for $99.00. This could be a big savings for a lot of people on this board. My AT&T contract is up next month.....and I am signing up for this and getting a Black Berry.

With AT&T I am spending $125.00 per month and to get unlimited email it will be an additional $60.00.

You can use a Black Berry as a modem.....and cut the cost of wireless internet card....and do this for $99.00 per month with Sprint (some people say that it is slower connection?) Just wanted to share. Hope this can help some people reduce cost. Smile

Re: Can you keep your same phone # if you switch?

Yes, absolutley that is some kind of federal mandated right/act that we have. When I changed from Tmobile to AT&T about 3 years ago- it took like 24 hours to switch but I still could get calls on my Tmobile service b/c I had not shut them down yet. I suggest that you switch, make sure the number has transfered, and then shut down your current service. Worked for me....the cost of an extra day is nothing compared to missing 1 job call.

Check out their web site- I am really excited!!!!

Their service here is spotty and somewhat hit and miss. Do make sure to look at their satisfaction policy , you won't save any money if the service stinks. Good luck.

Phillip. Just looked at their website and coverage area

around me. Not looking too good. Coverage looks very spotty here also. Oh well, doesn't hurt to check it out.

Verizon Wireless is advertising a similar program for the same price. I'm not sure if it's available everywhere.

Sprint/Nextel was VERY sporadic around me...

thankfully my contract ran out and I was able to replace it with a local provider with stronger coverage.

Re: Sprint/Nextel was VERY sporadic around me...

and I would get roaming charges in my own area! They said I could pay $5 a month to not have that happen, but would only happen 3-4 times month so that was over-priced for me. I was never so happy to see a contract be up and port over to my ATT plan as an add on for family plan.

Originally took Sprint as the plan was free unlimited incoming calls and since most of mine incoming made sense. Didn't have a lot of minutes, but had been with Cingular/ATT for so long and had cheap plan w/tons of minutes so that was my outgoing phone. Plus Sprint....well, they just weren't worth it. I could go on forever...

You ALSO need a blackberry plan....

Even with the Sprint everything plan, you will also need a Blackberry plan, which will cost you another $30-$40 a month on top of the $99.

Just an fyi, from a Blackberry User.

I hate Sprint, their coverage sucks in Ohio/Indiana.... I've never not found a coverage area with AT&T....
