Thank you & Next chat
Thanks to everyone who had such kind words for me regarding last Tuesday's Live Chat.
Thanks especially to the people who asked questions and wanted clarification. I tried to word my points as clearly as possible but the topic is extremely tricky. The people who asked questions gave me opportunities to reframe my writing and thereby create more chances for people to understand my discussion points.
Lots of people have emailed and pm'd me, asking if I will do it again because they missed it or they want a deeper understanding.
So I'll hostess another live chat in early April with a slightly different agenda.
I thought the reason why we should stop marketing to TCs and SSs and instead start marketing to LOs would be transparently understood - a "given." That assumption was incorrect.
So the topics of the April chat will be: 1. Why we should market to LOs and stop marketing to SSs and TCs 2. Defining the LOs who are worth our marketing time 3. Where to look for these specific LOs
On another topic, my non-profit association for WA small business owners is finally going to launch next week. I am on webtech number 4. (I had no idea that website builders could be such flakes!) Number 4 is doing fabulous work. The site is done but for his working out some very minor glitches in the database. When the site launches, I will post announcement on NotRot. Watch this space!

Good to hear, Laura. As always, topical, informative, and
lots of participation with great input.
To those of you who have yet to receive the transcripts - some were bounced back, some failed to send, some couldn't be opened. My apologies. I'm so low-tech, it's a bit of a riddle for me. I'll keep trying as I get the time.
In the future, perhaps if you are unable to make a chat, you could arrange for someone to get you the trans. in advance. There were so many requests, it's quite a chore for me as a techno-dufus to get the info to everyone who wanted one - and I'm still trying... <hopeless shrug> thanks for your patience.

Thanks to both of you! Hey Harry, here's (another) request
I had planned to be there, but ended up not being able to. So I really appreciate the email Susan. I wonder, if there is someway Harry and his magicians could put that type of chat on a message (or post?) so those who can't be there don't miss out. I have no idea if this is possible, cuz, I'm a bit of a techno-dufus too

Susan, Thanks I just wanted some input. I am not so desperate as to do this job for nothing. And it just frustrated me that the poor client is the one suffering. I pride myself in doing a good job and being professional after that night I received an email telling me from that same title company in Florida how rude I was for not taking her signing. This forum at least made me realize Im not the only one treated this way. Thanks so much eveyone for your input it helped. From now on I am standing my ground. Laura/Central Florida
