TransUnion's auto assignments

What do you all think of TransUnion's proposed new auto-assignments where assignments are dished out based on who has the lowest fee in the area when something comes up? I'm no longer doing business, but I still get emails from some old vendors from time to time. Once in a while I like to check in and see how things are going for you all. I think TransUnion's proposed process stinks, and I wouldn't lower my fee one bit to accommodate them. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone just refused to play their games.

I'm sorry to see the industry is so rough these days for you all! I onced loved this job...now I don't miss the hassle of trying to fight for a decent signing fee every time the phone rings!

I told the gal gas and paper cost MORE this year, Not less, why should I accept less $$$ ???

That's what I was wondering. I emailed back saying I was no longer in this business and that if they auto-assigned me something, it wouldn't get done. I'm just not sure how, exactly, they think that is going to work...

Think of this instead

Come EOM the cheap notary has 3 closings, they are running all over, waiting for docs and make 150 bucks for all 3.

You wait for the TC and make the same on 1 deal close to home. You do 3 deals and make almost 500 vs the 150 Mr low ball took.

Let them have it..Who cares

Here's the deal...

If you agree to their insulting $46.00 fee, you will be notified first for closings within 10 miles of your home zip code. You'll have the option of running all of your competition out of business by grabbing all of these assignments first! WOW. I ignored the e-mail they sent advising me of this change.Today, I get a call telling me this is what I will need to do to stay on their good side.No thanks I told her, $46.00 is too low, in fact I raised my fees from the already crappy rate you were paying before.CLICK.
