I had one of those closings. I had to tell the borrower 6 times who I was and what I did, and I know her! (from a restaurant I frequent!) She thought I was the girl from title, the loan officer oh, I don't know maybe an alian! (the elevator doesn't go to the top floor for her) For ---'s sake. Sorry, the story goes, docs late informed the borrowers, will call as soon as I am printed and leaving the house, she has to get to work. I give her the option of closing for her significant other and then going to her work and having her sign a few papers, non-b. Get to the closing 40 minutes late, literally around the corner from me! I sign her, doc's are messed up fix all the inaccuracies, Also, they did not find out they have to give me a check until 5 minutes before I get there! Have boyfriend down as married ect. while signing I sighed and said something to the affect of having odjitta (sp? who knows). She is just I think normally slow, but has enough grey matter I believe to sign. Well don't you know, she tells the loan officer that I was somewhat frazzled over this. Okay no big deal right! WRONG, The closing went bad because of me as far as the title co. believes. I did wrong because I mentioned my aggravation. Geeze! And it was my fault I was late, because I received the docs at 11:05 am and my closing was 11:00am. Guess I should have put my printer in rocket mode! I am so p-----!

Yikes! You got me beat for a bad day!
I am SO sorry that everything went wrong, and then they blamed you for it, when you were trying so hard! We are here for you and we understand! There but for the grace of God go all of us.

The icing on the cake is the manager of the title company tells me on the phone, he really does not care about a $150.00 closer! I think my new motto will be for title, lo, or lender to call borrowers if docs are going to be late, like it used to be!
