printing help please

some time back someone gave me instructions for changing the print driver to PCL 5e, for my HP 3050 running on windows xp and this solved my problem.
I recently went to windows vista and i do not see any option for selecting this print driver.
The problem I am having is when printing a pdf file sometimes it goes one page at a time and then sometimes more, then back to 1 or 2.
Hopefully someone out there understands my problem and can help

I am running vista and a HP 3050. I downloaded the driver from HP website and it works great. Have you checked your printer settings? Also make sure the driver from xp version is deleted. That may be the problem.
