Apology to all...

I just want to say thatI am sorry I feel like I opened a major can of something in here. Please I was coming here to talk to fellow notaries. Looking for opinions and advice. To all of those people leaving nasty comments there is no call for it at all. This is a forum where people go to for advice and to chat about business. If you do not like it here then don't be here. As far as typo's Boy do I have an email from them that believe me if it was posted that comment would NEVER come out again from some people.

Anyway just want to say sorry for starting all of this, I never ment for it to blow up like this, but again I thank you all and to take and love to always receive advice and ideas.

I see no need for you to apologize. You came on here and posted with a legitimate concern.
You have no control over how members respond. You may have got a similar response if you had just come on here and said the sky is blue todaySmile

Re: Philip, I cannot even believe you said that!!!!

Philip was joking - he was referring to my comment about the color of the sky.

He has a droll sense of humor sometimes, one would think he was BritishSmile

A TROLL!! If I wasn't living under this bridge, trying to

get Billy Goat's gruff, I'd hop the next bus to Florida and set you straight. Though I'm a wee bit late, let me wish you a happy Spring bank holiday and in case I forget happy Summer one too.

God save the Queen and her somewhat awkward and visually unappealing heir apparent. Smile

Not to worry, James. There will always be some out there who will criticize because they have nothing better to do. Wouldn't it be nice if we were all perfect like they are?

I believe the great worth of Notary Rotary is the ability of members to ask just such questions. Hopefully we will all learn from others here.

I'm glad you posted - discussion was important & informative

There will always be rude people, even to the point of cruelty, on a forum. It's sad but a fact of human nature that such people will even send emails to a person in an effort to continue to hurt and insult.
I for one found the discussion informative and helpful. It brought out many different viewpoints, experiences and advice, and most everyone could learn something from it.

Re: I'm glad you posted - discussion was important & informative

Agree wholeheartedly! There was much to be learned from your post, as a cautionary tale. This is just another example of how we are here for one another.

Regarding rudeness, crudeness, etc: one is only responsible for oneself and one endeavors to not sink to the lower levels if one is prudent, fair and responsible. Truth and beauty go hand in hand and those that seek to attain them will be rewarded in their search. Along the way one may be vilified, but like that proverbial duck, let it slide off and get on with the truly helpful commentary.

Re: Apology to all...Jamie

The thread you started was very interesting and informative. Don't blame yourself for the SS owner who made a very bad business decision to out herself. Your post proved how crucial communication is in the closing process and what can go wrong when a TC uses a middle man.

There's only one reason they want so much...

need some deep pockets to spread the hit around as far & wide as possible.
