CTC NOTARY OUT OF SAC

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO COLLECT FROM THIS COMPANY FOR OVER A MONTH. I HAVE LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR NUMBER AND NOW THEIR WEB PAGE WILL NOT EVEN COME UP. I JUST CONTACTED THE TITLE COMPANY I SENT THE DOCS TO AND THEY ARE GOING TO TRY TO HELP ME. ANY SUGGESTIONS. WHO CAN I CONTACT IN CALIFORNIA TO REPORT THESE PEOPLE.

I did 2 signings for them and they paid me for neither of them. Besides the guy was so rude I told him not to call me and he dared to call me right back after I hung up on him.

Sent you a PM Vicki. It does appear their numbers are disconnected!

I sent them an email just now asking if they are out of business. I think I will try sending a fax as well.

I don't have any outstanding invoices right now...thank Goodness, but I want to know what they are doing as well.

Hopefully, not another one going out of business....yikes....If I hear anything I will let you know.

Check out this email too...weird

I was checking through my emails from CTC and noticed this one sent only just recently on Aprill 22nd!

"Hello Valued Notary,
We at CTC Notary want to take a moment to thank you for being a valued notary registered with our company. We also want to inform you that CTC Notary is currently opening a new division. This division is going to specialize in reverse mortgages. We are asking for a reply of your current qualifications in reverse mortgages. Thank you again and we enjoy working with you.

Now the phones are disconnected and the website is down. Strange if they are going out of business that they would send out this email only a couple of weeks ago. Just thought I would let you know this. Gonna see what I can find out for you as well.

Here's another number

Well, this number works, but the mailbox is full. =-)

It is their emergency number: Emergency Line: 916-616-7070.

You can keep trying that number to see if the mailbox frees up. At least it is not disconnected.

The fax number is disconnected as well. Just tried faxing and that number is gone too.

The email has not bounced back so the email might make it through.

The transactions I did were both with Security Title Co. in Oregon by the way. I did those in March.

I am not sure who your title is with but if it is different here is another one. Title can usually help.

If you want, you can ask Security Title if they know anything as well since they work together. Their number is: 503-293-4810

Hey, the voicemail worked on the emergency line!

It still says CTC notary and I think this number is a cell phone.

I left a nice, pleasant message just inquiring why their numbers are disconnected. I will let you know what happens.

He is checking the messages obviously, though, because the mailbox was full 15 minutes ago and now it takes messages.

CTC NOTARY never paid me $150 for a signing I did for them in Feb. I know their #s are disconnected and I've left messages for "Bill" at the new company they're going under "GOLDEN BEAR," but no reply at all.

My next step is to contact the title company, lender, collection agency...whatever it takes. These companies can't just get away with ripping off notaries and change names and then business as usual. If you went to a dentist or a doctor, do you think they'd let you get away without paying the bill? I don't think so!
